Our body’s physical health is directly related to our body’s mental health. Physical activity and healthy eating can elevate our moods, reduce stress and improve overall mental health.
Physical wellness consists of improving our nutrition, strength, flexibility, aerobic conditioning, balance, sleep and maintaining a healthy weight.
Mental wellness consists of focusing on our emotions and feelings, our sense of purpose and values, intellectual growth and our social and family networks.
